non-destructive recovery packard bell pc

Hi I recently used non-destructive recovery on my pc, i had to recover with
no profile command. Windows has recovered and my files are now in
C:\documents and Settings\ user name *Janet* also C:\Program
Files\Application Name.
I have been advised to use System Variables to change path. and add
commandC:\documents and Settings\ user name *Janet* also C:\Program
Files\Application Name. Does this mean to add every program name. Also do I
need to install all programs and drivers that are installed by myself on the
pc.

found" messages?

manually. Can you provide more information as to why you were given this

My new user is different from the one I used before, when I open up the computer a message comes stating that I can find my files in C:\ documents and Settings (user name) and C:\Program Files (Application Name) so I go to Start-Run- Type in documents and Settings\Janet, a window opens showing a list of my documents and all the program files. How do I transfer these back to windows. At the moment the new My documents is empty. I tried to use Power Suite 2009 to recover windows xp originally this didn't help and I then did the recovery so I e-mailed them with the same question and they replied as follows you should add the path in the end of Path. Right click my computer-->choose properties-->click Advanced-->click Environment Variables, choose "path" in System variables, click edit, add "C:/documents and Settings/user name;C:/Program Files/Application name" in the end. then restart your computer.)
