In MS Word you can create a non breaking space (Ctrl Shift space) to keep two
or more words together. How do you insert a non breaking space in Powerpoint?

Hold down the Alt key, and on your numeric keypad enter 0160

What type of Laptop? on my Toshiba, I have to press Fn+F11. I then have access
to the numeric keypad.

If you use this a lot, you might want to assign a nobreaking space as an
AutoCorrect character. i.e. the character combination ~! could be assigned, and
everythime you entered those two characters a non breaking space would be
inserted.
