Non-administrators can not log on

I've run across in interesting problem in W2K. I have created new user
accounts and granted them Users and Power users access. When I try to log on
with the new user name and password. I am returned to the user log on box. If
I log on as administrator, no problem. If I change the new user name to allow
administrator status, no problem. I cannot log on with a user name that is
not an administrator. Any suggestions?

Dave, Thank you. That was in fact an important ommission on Microsoft's
part. I accidentally posted this inquiry multiple times and got responses
from both you and Pegasus (MVP). Pegasus suggested I try this.

Not only was it more detailed, the procedure solved the problem. Thanks to
you both.
