Matt

I can hear my computer hard drive accessing and my mouse
when I move it through the computer speakers. Does anyone
know why this is happening?

My System:
Windows XP Service Pack 1 (5.1.2600)
AMD Athalon XP1400
1G Ram
Sound: Hercules Game Theater XP 7.1
Video: Nvidia GeForce MX 440

Very annoying, please help!

Thanks,
Matt

The same thing happens on one of my computers, but it doesn't seem to come from
the speakers, but rather inside the computer itself...maybe I'm wrong and it
does some from the speakers.

Is it a really high pitched clicking/beeping kind of noise?

Double click the little speaker icon and MUTE Line In. You may have to go
into Options properties and check Line In.
