I'm starting to hear not-so-comforting noises coming from my 8600GT
video card. It's sounding like the bearing is starting to seize up. Is
this a common problem on tower-configuration desktops, where the cards
are attached horizontally rather than vertically? I've seen this happen
so often with video cards, from both ATI and Nvidia, that I've lost count.
Also according to Linux, my card's GPU is running at 58C even at idle.
