Please see earlier message. Still not resolved. Checked config and it's
checked to be loaded at startup, but still not able to bring up control
panel or program. Please see:

Hi, I recently installed NOD32 on my XP Pro SP2 machine and everything
seemed fine until I got the microsoft security message that my AV was
not up to date. At that point I looked for the icon in system tray and
it was not there (dont have it set to hide inactive icons). Then I went
to open from Programs and nor the NOD32 program or the control center
will open. control center flashes briefly but doesn't stay on screen.
Any suggestions???

Well, are you sure you don't have virus that has knocked NOD32 out? You
can check that with some online virus scannners and if they are stopped
in the middle of scanning, you know you have a problem.

If that's not the case, then uninstall NOD32 and install it back and see
if that fixes the problem. It possible you have to do that for some
reason, although I have never heard of the problems your having in the
years I have been using NOD32.
