No Worksheet Range Object in VSTO?

Ray,
In Excel, ActiveSheet does not have to be a worksheet. It can be a Chart or
Macro sheet.
As such, you do not get Intellisense when using it as it's possible members
are not known until runtime.
Not sure how this appears in VSTO.
But ActiveSheet.Range("A1").Value=100 is certianly valid VBA.

Also, "Sheet" is a member of the PublishObject, but again don't know if
using an object name in VSTO is the cause.

Hello Ray,

I would like to suggest you use the WorkBook.ActiveSheet to get the
WorkSheet.

Also, you may try to use the WorkSheets collection to get the WorkSheet.

Sincerely,

Wei Lu

Note: The MSDN Managed Newsgroup support offering is for non-urgent issues
where an initial response from the community or a Microsoft Support

up response may take approximately 2 business days as the support
professional working with you may need further investigation to reach the
most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by contacting
