No Volumn

Hi People, Can you help me on this. This has happened to me before but I
can't remember how I fixed it. All I know is that it took me forever to
figure it out. There must me a program that I'm going into and it keeps
taking my sound away. I have checked all my connections and I have power to
the speakers, but no sound.
