No "User defined" for paper size

I wanted to print labels for 35 mm slides as I have done
for years first with MSWorks, then MSAccess on my Epson
5500 printer. These labels are .5" x 3.5". This was so
easy to select in W98 with user defined size. This seems
to be no longer available.
I can't believe this company, that wants $35 just to
answer whether this capability is gone. Then when I first
tried to access these support pages, I kept getting "page
not available."
Trying late at night, I'm able to read posts, including
one that relates to my question, but I see no answers for
anything.
Does anyone answer these things or is this just a list of
posts. Extrememely disappointed and frustrated, as I
spent all day preparing the data for about 1200 such
labels, and then ready to finish up by printing only to
find that I can't.

Gee where have you been? Have you never dealt with MS before? Nothing they
do is simple.
Anyway, on xp/w2k/nt you have to define custom size in server properties.
Printers and Faxes->File->Server Properties there is a tab.
However, there is a probability that the new MS supplied driver may not
support that size. You may have to go to the manufacturers web site to get
an updated driver.
