no user accounts?!? plz help!!

grandma decided it would be a good idea to wipe clean all accounts and just leave hers, but she didnt make herself an administrator!!! no accounts show up on start up, and the only way to get on the dern thing is to control/alt/delete my way in. cant change anything and cant add new users cause there are no admins.!!! any suggestions besides reinstall software? using windows xp home edition, thx!

Hi

If you can access the Admin. Account - Ctrl-Alt-Del - you can then create a
new user account with Admin. privileges.

no i cant, when i go into the user account menu, it doesnt have an option for creating a new user account, because you have to be a administrator to create new user accounts. see my problem? with no administrator privileges, i cant do anything, except run certain programs like explorer and musicmatch and things like that, but i cant do a system restore, cant create a new user and i cant change the current user to have admin. privileges. is reinstalling the original software my only choice?

Try booting in safe mode and you should be able to log in the default
admin account.
