No TV in Media Center Edition 2005

Decoder Error. The video decoder is not installed, reads the error message
when I start MCE.

While deleting unused programs, I inadvertantly deleted something essential
for TV.

Can anyone tell me how to get it back?

Hi,

Did you try using System Restore, to go back to a time before you remove
this program? Try that first, to see if you can get it back that way.
If that fails, "The Video Decoder", is built into DVD programs like:
Cyberlink Power DVD
Intervideo Win DVD
Nero DVD

You should have CD's that came with your PC, one of them is for your DVD
program. Install that & try again, that should fix your problem
