Trying to fix a mate's PC. He cannot access any web pages. I have set
his NIC to a fixed IP as DHCP fails. I can now ping DNS servers so I
know the internet connection is OK but I can't get any TCPIP services
to run at all. No web pages etc and a ping www.msn.com also fails so
DNS isn't playing either. I tried to uninstall TCPIP but there isn't
an option do do it.
How can I re-install TCPIP as I suspect it's been corrupted somehow?
TIA
cheers,
