No Taskar, No Shortcuts, pls help#

Wen i turn the laptop on, put my passwrd in, the
desktopbackround is the only thing that comes up, no

HI.
I have the same problem as you.
try this: press Ctrl+alt+del,go to task manager,and then
click to processes.If the process "explorer.exe" does not
appears do the following:Go to file-->New task, and then
type explorer.exe and click ok.
I didn`t try it in the first place but i will do it today
after work.In case you do it now please send me an email
to let me know if it works!

i just posted the EXACT problem, with the same solution.
my question is, why does this happen and how to fix it
permanently!?!?
