No sounds or sound icon

I tried to install PC Anywhere, but when I did, my video did not work
properly. I uninstalled that program, and no I have no sounds. All drivers
are present, no conflicts, but the icon will not show on tool bar and I can
get no sounds at all.

Have you tried a system restore to a point before the installation of PC
anywhere?

I do not know that point, and have tried all the solutions offered by windows

I am unable to restore to apoint prior to the PC anywhere program.
