No Sounds from Outlook 2003

All of the sudden, there are no sounds from outlook 2003, meaning, the new
nail notification sound is no longer working.

More specifically, when I go into the sounds schemes setup, there is a
Microsoft Office Entry there with a DOS looking ICON with no sounds
underneath that heading when I bring it up in the list box.

What in the world...I am the administrator on the machine I am using (XP
SP1) and yet my LIMITED account users are getting a mail notification sound,
but not me...

Any pointers much appreciated. I already tried a "repair" of the
installation to no avail.

It sounds like your specified sound file is damaged. Do you have the
original source for the sound? If yes, try replacing it with the one from
the source.
