No new mail sounds in Outlook 2003

Hello,

I just upgraded from Office XP to Office XP with SP1.

I used to get a notification sound when I received e-
mails in Outlook, but no longer since I upgraded.

I checked the control panel options and the sound is set
for new mail notification.

Any help?

I can't get the notification window to come up either ?

Damn upgrades are never worth the headaches.

Don't upgrade??? My gosh, you're right!
How could I be such a dolt. Thanks for setting me
straight.
