No Sound

I have just started using Movie Maker.
I have made a short home movie from my digital camcorder,
when i am capturing it from the camera, i can hear the
sound coming from camera, but i just cannot get it to
work on the movie that i have made, please, please, what
am i doing wrong, i have spent hours trying to suss this
one out. I have learnt how to save to cd and all that but
without the sound.Thanks
 
It you are connecting via firewire, the audio is included in the DV-AVI
file. If via USB, then the audio needs to go into your sound card.
