Haupaggue PVR 500 MCE - No Audio with Movie Maker 2

I am having what looks like a common problem but I am struggling to
find the answer! I have a HP M7181 Media Centre PC with a Haupaggue
PVR 500 MCE capture card. I have connected my Digital Camcorder via
composite to the PC, can capture the video without issue but fail to
capture sound! If I connect thecomcorder to the TV with composite I
get sound through the TV. Is there something I have to enable to
capture sound in movie maker 2? Any help would be much appreciated.

Did you tell the capturing program (whatever you are using) from where to
acquire the audio.... I think the default is going to be Line In (on the
soundcard or onboard audio chipset) so you need to tell the program you are
using audio in on the Hauppauge.
