Hello..

I very recently reloaded my computer from scratch due to what must have been
a virus.

I had to do this several years ago also.

I have a beep thatl goes off ..and I know the speakers work.

however I have no sound on anything.
I had this same issue the last time I did this and cannot recall what the
fix was.
it seems to me it was removing an reloading something.
Any ideas?

When I go to control panel and audio devices it is all greyed out and will
not let you adjust. It does show it as mute there.

Thanks,

Lee

You need to install the drivers for the audio device you have. Go to the
manufacturers support site and download/install the proper drivers per their
instructions for your specific PC make/model.
