Hi guy's. I have problem with my sound.
It all started one friday. I had away for 3 days and I loaded some songs to
my mobile phone. Then I turned my computer normaly off (Start-Turn Off-Turn
off). After 3 day's I turned it on and started Winamp and there was error:
Bad DirectSound driver. Please install proper drivers or select another
device in configuration. Error code: 88780078. So I trough I should install
these drivers. I inserted my cd [This was with my computer ( Drivers &
Utilities)] and started install all this stuff. Everything was fine when
install said: Begin to install/update RealTek AC`97 drivers... and thats all.
It disappeared (vanished). Nothing happened. Winamp still said that error. So
I uninstalled these drivers from control panel. Oh no! Error! Still nothing.
Even when I try to uninstall then in Safe mode. So I disaied to go to device
manager. And I was like o.O It was empty. My friend send me one scrpit (?)
that should fix this device manager. It didn't helped. So I trough that maybe
some one is turned it off, nope, it turned on and working automaticly. (from
Services) I have Loaded BIOS Optimized Deafults and even clear CMOS. Nothing
helps. Even my USB don't work.
What's wrong with my computer?

-Sorry about my English. I try to give my best.

If you now have no start-up sounds and cannot use WMP then :

1) Download the latest drivers from the Motherboards website. Do not install
yet.

2) Download the latest DirectX from MS, install it.

3) Delete all drivers relating to your soundcard. Right click on My Computer
Propoerties > Hardware > Device Manager etc. Re-boot.

4) When prompted use the downloaded drivers to re-install the soundcard.
Re-boot if necessary.

5) Upgrade to the latest version of WinAmp from their website. Make sure it
is set up correctly.

Cheers,
Jerry
