No Sound

Hi:

I have a friend that I sent an embedded song as background music in an
email and he said that he had no sound. Afterwards I sent him an email with
a hyperlink to a website that had sound, but he opened the website and also
had no sound.

I had him check various items and he said that when he opened the My Music
folder and clicked on sample music that he had sound.

Anyone have any suggestions as to the cause of no sound as described
above?

What type of sound format did you send your friend and the website has?

If anything an addin or extra component will need to be installed in order
for the audio to be heard.

Hi

The background music was .mp3 file and the website was
http://www.inspiringword.net/movies/psa-23a.htm. Sorta basic music.

First of all, this might sound stupid, but is his volume muted or al
the way down
If not, make sure the sound card is working, and that speakers ar
turned on. Check for sound card driver issues too

Volume is not muted, as have checked that. Also have sound when he plays
sample music.
