Hi, I appreciate the efforts put into this forum for answering questions,
I've learned a lot here.
I am running Windows XP SP2 with two user accounts set up. When I log onto
the main user account, I am not able to hear sounds through the speakers
(CD's, games, movie files, etc.). The 2nd user account is able to play
sounds, so it is not a blown sound card or bad speakers. I have run a
diagnostic through PC Doctor and determined that I can hear MIDI files when
played, but not WAV files. I thought it might be a conflict between some
media players so I have removed all but iTunes and Windows Media Player, but
still nothing.
Thank you in advance for any ideas or tips, much appreciated!
