no sound card deteced

please help me i have upgraded from windows 98 to windows
xp and there is no sound in my computer as no sound card
detected. the system is working well with window 98 and
the sound card is of avance 97.
pleas help
 
You have to install the WinXP avance 97 driver. Go to the manufacturers
website (Motherboard)

Pretty simple

You need to find to the maker of your soundcard website
and lok for drivers that support XP ok
