No Software Games Are Working On My Computer

Hello, Can someone help me please?

Whenever i insert a game disc into my computer, it says
no disc inserted so therefore i cant play my game.

I even try to install it and it doesnt work it just keeps
saying no disc inserted...when the disc is inserted!

Please Help!

No its never been bad before this is a new computer..ive
always played games on it before...and you know that
doesnt really help. Obviously i have a bad cd drive
now....
