No sent mail in "SENT ITEMS" folder

None of my sent mail shows up in the sent items folder. It is off to
the vapor, I guess.

I have Win2k and Outlook2k.

I checked "filters," I don't think that is the problem.

What's up?

I am having the same problem. I see several threads on this subject with the
standard suggestions of things to check/uncheck, which are the right
questions to ask, but in cases where posters have all the settings right I
don't see any solutions.

My sent items were being saved properly to Sent Items until this afternoon,
when I had my motherboard replaced. Everything else works fine so far, no
difference from working off my old motherboard. Except...sent items aren't
saved to the Sent Items folder.
- I do have checked Tools > Options > E-mail Options > Save copies of
messages in Sent Items folder (and I've unchecked and re-checked it a few
times)

- I do not have checked Tools > Options > E-mail Options > Advanced E-mail
Options > In folders other than the Inbox, save replies with original message

- I have no Rules

- Filters are off under view

I can't imagine the new motherboard is the issue. Anyone have any other
ideas? Thanks.

OK, I feel like an idiot. When the Dell tech guy put in a new motherboard
today he did not re-set the date/time properly. So, my sent messages *were*
going into the Sent Items folder, just way down the list because they were
dated last January.

Yet another "gotcha"...
