No send button on Outlook 2003

Suddenly, the send button has disappeared. In using help, the
suggestion was that the button would appear when an e-mail account was
created. I re-entered all of the data for my email account but still
no send button. The only thing that will send is the automatic e-mail
created when you test the settings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Did you close and reopen Outlook after creating your mail accounts?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
