No results in a report

I have a report which runs via a couple of drop down menu's, these filter the
results, some combinations of the drop downs result in no results, can I get
a message to appear saying no results,rather than producing a blank report

Sure.

Add a macro (or code) to the No Data event of the report (the Event tab of
the Properties box, when examining properties of the report in design view.

The macro just needs CancelEvent and MsgBox.
