No reports in Access 2003

An Access 2003 database ( an Access 2000 file format mdb) which has been
performing perfectly well for many years has recently failed to produce
Reports. The reports are configured to appear as 'print preview' but nothing
appears. The macro which produces the report otherwise works fine (it updates
record fields). In addition none of the Reports can be viewed in Design view
(although Queries Forms Tables etc can be). Which makes it difficult to
troubleshoot the problem. Also I am not allowed to create new Reports (but
can create new Queries Forms etc). I have checked permissions in Access
properties and all seems well. Posted this query early on today but the "Read
and rate the response' url produced a blank page!! Anybody have an answer?

This is what John Spencer replied to your previous post:

Sounds like you don't have a default printer defined on your computer.
Access requires that you have a default printer defined for doing
anything with reports.
