no recovery file!

Powerpoint quit and even though I had it had been autosaving every
five minute there is now recovery file anwhere to be found. None
appeared when I re-opened the app and none can be fouind with Find
..

Any ideas?

Saving autorecovery information is for when PowerPoint crashes and restarts
itself. It isn't an "auto save" option. You'll need to use your backup
file.
