Graham,
I executed the "regsvr32..." command but the problem persists! Any
other idea? Is this a DirectShow issue? Is there a way to log or debug
it more closely (Graphfilter)?
Please note that the same laptop/software using a Cardbus 1394 port
(NEC) works flawlessly.
Could it be some hardware issue of the onboard TI chip? The onboard
chip does work well in both network NIC mode as well as for attaching
an external 1394 hard drive. But it fails on capture while recognizing
the SONY DV cam attached to it.
