I have no process User Names in my Task Manager list. I have purchased Bit
defender's latest version and am currently running it. It found viruses like
win32.netskt.c@mm and win32.bagle.l@mm exploit.phel.gen several times. They
were reportedly found in old email contained within outlook express which i
havent used in over a year except the exploit.phel.gen. That was located
elsewhere. I keep updateing bitdefender and rerunning it but I still have yet
to remove this taskmanager problem.

Tim

To see any names in the User Name column, Terminal Services needs to be set
to automatic and running.

Start | Run | Type: services.msc | OK |
Scroll down to and double click: Terminal Services |
Set Startup type to Automatic | Apply | Click the Start
button to start the service | OK | Close Services

Thank You your the greatest. Ive racked my brain out. When bit defender found
the viruses I was convinced I still had a malicious intruder. Though i
downloaded tcpview and found no incoming or outgoing threats. By the way it
was the terminal services that did it after I rebooted.
Very truly in your debt.
If you need a good word passed to someone in your org then let me know. I
have to setup a VPN and I didnt dare start till the threat was eliminated.

Once you buy a blue Buick you see blue Buicks everywhere.

When you find viruses you're just sure whatever problem was caused
by.......viruses. ;-)
