Actually, this is the wrong forum - this is for XP problems only.

im going on about win 98 newsgroup is ignored by those
who have great knowledge. i see i should have proof read.

my comp won't display pictures while browsing the
internet. IE 6.0 all that appears is a RED x in the frame.
right click does no good.

does that make any sense.

Try this: Open Internet Explorer/Tools/Internet Options/Advanced tab/scroll down to: Multimedia/make sure "Show Picture" is checked/Apply/OK.

In my verson of XP Home, you must do this slightly differently:
Start
Control Panel
Internet Options
Advanced tab

Try this: Open Internet Explorer/Tools/Internet Options/Advanced
tab/scroll down to: Multimedia/make sure "Show Picture" is checked/Apply/OK.
