Go to System in the Performance and Maintenance section of the Control Panel
(or just System if you have enabled Classic View). Click on the Advanced tab
and then the Settings button under where it says Performance. Click on the
Advanced tab, then the Change button. Select the drive you wish to enable
the paging file for, click on Custom size and set your Initial size to the
amount of RAM you have multiplied by 1.5. Then set your Maximum size to
twice your Initial size, click Set and then OK. You will be prompted to
restart your computer.
