No network on one machine

T

Terry

I took my computer apart to borrow the CD burner. Everything was
working fine before I touched it.

Now I have put the machine back together and I have no network on this
machine.

I can unplug the network cable and XP reports that it is unplugged.
When I plug it back in, I get a light on the card and a light on the
router.

I can not access the Internet or any of my networked drives.

Any suggestions?

Try removing the ethernet adapter and plugging it back in. It could be you
knocked the card loose while you had your machine open the other day.
