no Multimedia Auto Controller

Can not load Multimeda Auto Device IU sent for Driver
Resource Diagnostic Tools But Still can not get my sound
to work I have downloader VIA8233XSB Auto Driver after
talking with tech rep But still can not install any of
these drivers Can someone please help me out

Hi NavyBill,

Go to the control panel and remove the device and then
restart. When the computer finds new hardware and wants a
driver for it, tell it you manually want to search for a
driver and then direct it to the folder where you
downloaded the driver that the tech instructed you to.
See if that solves the problem. If not, then that driver
might not be the right one. You didn't say what the make
and model of the device was, but you might try the mfg.
website for new drivers for that device.
