No more SocketA mobos?

?

-|-

After the A7V600 almost a -X since the board doesn't have much to
offer. No "delux" boards that accept dualDDR (2x512M PC3200) and with
4 RAID 0/1 plugs... Only for Pentiums... maybe Athlon64...

SocketA is going to die? They stop development? I need a new mobo :)

how about the asus k8v deluxe, sk8n, or the sk8v. these would be
matched with different versions of the amd64 cpu.

With Intel and AMD's new sockets coming I don't think any of the current
stuff has too much life left in it, but it is funny that Intel has
changed the P4 socket 4? times already while AMD has had the same socket
since 1999.

If I do upgrade from my current A7N8X/3200++ I'll probably go with an
AMD again, a socket 939 or 940.

Good luck,
