No MIN/MAX anywhere

Good Day,

In Access 2007, when I create a table, query, form, etc., there are not any
Min/Max buttons available on anything, only a Close button.

If I use an Access database that was created with 2003, they are available.

Why would this happen? Thank you! -debi-

Hello debi,

Databases created in Access 2007 use a "single document" setting where
each object (table, query, form, etc.) has its own tab along the top of
the window. Databases created in older versions of Access retain the
"multiple document" setting that includes the Min/Max buttons.

You can modify how the objects are displayed through Microsoft Office
Button | Access Options | Current Database. See the settings for
"Overlapping Windows" or "Tabbed Documents" under "Document Window
Options." If you select the "Overlapping Windows" option, you'll see
the Min/Max buttons.

I hope this helps.
