No maximize or minimize controls on Excel Window

My excel document opens without any controls allowing me
to either maximize/minimize/or close the document window?
(These buttons are normally at the top/right corner of
every windows program.) How do I restore these buttons
and functionality?

Jake,
The book you have probably has protected windows.

To undo Tools>Protection>Unprotect_Workbook. Hopefully it isn't password protected.
