gggrrrrrri have been trying for 2 months to download windows live. all parts.i had some problems setting up my wireless so my brother came round and did it for me. he is an it engineer.anyway once he had done it i was thrilled until i realised that  i could no longer get on messenger or live mail or skysongs or itunes or limewire.each and everyone of them tells me i have no internet connection. now i can go upstairs on the desktop and use these sites fine but not on my laptop or my childrens laptops. i tried doing it with the wires plugged in made no difference. i tried doing a dns flush but it told me it needs to be elevated(?)i seriously have no idea how to fix this and my brother is stumped too.i am a total computor virgin so if any advice is given please please give it to me in easy english!thankyou very very much in advance. this has me so frustrated i have been in tears this evening.

The occasional space after punctuation would make your message easier to
read beccibax.

You need to ensure that in WM @ the tools menu>accounts>select your
account>properties>connections tab, that "always connect using" is not
selected.

In IE, tools>internet options>connections>select "never dial a connection".

And how does your question pertain to Windows Mail (not Windows LIVE Mail)
in Vista?
