In PhotoImpession - I cannot open the index under the Help menu. Get the
following error message

the procedure entry point MapSLFix cannot be located in the dynamic link
library KERNEL32.dll

Does anyone have any idea what the heck that means and how to fix it???
Thanks.

It usually means that the program is looking for a different version of a
DLL. It can mean that either there is a different version in there now, or
that the correct one is there but damaged.

Did PhotoImpression ever work? Have you tried that manufacturer's
support site? Sometimes uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling helps.

On the other hand, I see that using the System File Checker (Start, run, SFC
/SCANNOW) can help when others have had this problem. You may need to have
your Windows CD in the drive when you run this command, because it will want
to compare files. A repair install would probably accomplish the same
thing.

I don't have a windows cd because it was pre-installed on my new computer.
The site for PhotoImpression will not assist as it's an older program and
their knowledge base has nothing on this subject. This program worked just
fine on my older computer (which also had Windows XP), so any other
suggestions?
