No icons on the taskbar

Has anyone else had an issue with the taskbar icons disappearing in Windows
Vista Beta 2. I no longer have the system tray icons nor do my opened
programs appear on the taskbar. I have tried restarting and the problem
remains. Everything else is running fine and the problem occurred suddenly
(i.e., not after software/driver install).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Chrick,

Open regedit, delete this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects2

Reboot, see if it helps.

Rick,

That worked. Icons and open windows are now showing up on the Taskbar.

Thanks!

Hi Rick, what is that key for?
