No Icon showing for defender in taskbar

I would like to restore the icon on the taskbar, but defender is setup to
hide it. How do Iget it back?

It looks like this feature is as intended, since, it will only display it
self when needed such as updating the application or realtime protection is
not turned on. Its not really worth displaying all the time since the only
right click context menu options are Open and Exit, I missed the old ones
such as Security Agent Status, Quick Scan and Shutdown.

I think this is a downgrade not an upgrade!
