No go on internet connection sharing

I have two computers, my main and my secondary,
the secondary has one NIC, and i have setup the LAN with no problems.
My main has two NIC's one connecting the LAN and the other is connected to a
router located on the roof of my house, because i have wirless broadband.

The problem is that i cannot get the connection sharing to work.
I have run the wizard on the main computer first, telling it that it is the
one connected to the internet, and have run the wizard on the second computer
telling it that it connects through the main, and i have enabled file and
print sharing on both.

The documentation that i have read says that the NIC's should be alowed to
auto select the IP address, but the LAN NIC on the main computer wont do
this, and i have to do it manually.

I have tryed bridging the connections but then the main wont connect to the
internet.

Has anybody got any suggesetions?????????

Do you have all essential network components and services running on both
computers?

If you have a WiFi LAN, why are you using one computer as a second router (ICS
server)? What subnet is the WiFi router using? If 192.168.0/24, that will be a
big problem with ICS. You'd be so much better connecting the second computer
directly to the router too.
