No firewall in windows xp

When I check the box to turn on the firewall I get a error that says An error occured while Internet connection Sharing was being enabled the dependancy service or group failed to start. I went to services and turned it on but I still get the same message.
 
When You have Internet sharing connetion turned on, You can't turn on Internet connection firewall.
 
Turn OFF the XP firewall and get a decent program at www.zonelabs.com called
Zone Alarm.
