Enabling firewall.

Having problems enabling my firewall - get as far as
checking box to enable - click on ok then get message "An
error occurred while internet connection sharing was
being enabled. The dependency service or group failed to
start". Can anyone explain? What do I need to do? Please
keep it simple - don't REALLY know what I'm doing.

Go to Start >Run and type: MSCONFIG , and hit enter.
Select "Normal Startup", apply and reboot.

Then go back and configure the firewall.

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: FIREWALL , and hit enter.
Click on the topic titled "Enable or Disable Internet Connection Firewall".
