No filenames in thumbnail view

For some reason, in the My Pictures folder, which I've always run in a
thumbnail view, my filenames and folder names no longer appear under the
thumbnails. They show up if I switch to any other view (eg. list, details,
filmstrip, icons) and they appear in the "deatils" box when clicked on, as
usual, no matter what view I'm in. Did I hit some bizarre shortcut key
combination that cuased this? How can I fix this problem?

To turn off filenames, hold down the Shift key when you click to open a
folder in Windows Explorer or when you switch into thumbnail view. This will
turn of the file names, giving more space for the thumbnails. Doing it again
turns them back on.
