messages on the original server after being downloaded into windows mail on
my pc Unlike like outlook express or outlook . Please let me know how I can
accomplish this task.

That option seems to only be available for Pop accounts. Is there a
similar option some where for IMAP accounts?

WinMail does not delete any messages from an IMAP account until you use
purge to empty Deleted Items on the server.

Oh yeah. I should've remembered that. Thanks.

I am familiar with how to access pop accounts from any microsoft program like
express or windows mail. I have had no problem in the past with express.
With Vista and Windows Mail I have the option checked in Advanced features to
leave a copy of the message on the server. However, everytime I access
Windows Mail it downloads the message and does not leave it on the server. I
have a Gateway and they are supposed to support the operating system but they
dont have an answer other than to re-install windows which I do not want to
do. has anyone seen this issue as well?
