No Custom Paper Size on HP Laserjet 6L

I'm trying to print out a camcorder owner's manual, which is a .pdf
Adobe Acrobat file, on a HP Laserjet 6L, in a size that is big enough
to read comfortably when juggling photo equipment in the field but
small enough to stash away easily in a camcorder bag.

The Acrobat reader doesn't have a way to change the printout size, as
far as I can tell. It will scale to the size of the paper, though, so
I printed out sample pages of all the paper sizes offered by the
driver (except letter and legal), including the envelope sizes. From
smallest to largest, they are:

Envelope Monarch
Envelope #10
Envelope DL
A5
Envelope C5
Executive
A4

There is a big gap in size between Envelope DL and A5. I'd really like
to have a size between them. I looked for a way to set a custom paper
size, but I don't see a way to do that.

Is there any way around this?

Thanks,

Greg

Not with the MS drivers, or you could print on a frends printer that
has that custom size paper setting in their printer driver.
