no country/region info in dropdown box

I need to add contacts to outlook and when I try, the
dialogue box for country/region area code comes up. When
I drop down box to add country it is blank and then I am
stuck in a loop.

How do I get the info to display?

Best to check with the Microsoft Outlook newgroup forums. When you
re-post, ensure you tell them whave specific version of Outlook you are
using.

I have used Outlook for years and I have never seen this
problem. Has this function worked before and just
recently stopped functioning?

If you are using Office 2000 or XP, you may want to try
the Detect and Repair feature in Office (Help>Detect and
Repair). This will require that you have the Office CD-
ROM or a connection to the network location from which
Office was installed.

The process will take between 10 and 30 minutes to
complete. I would reboot after completion and see if this
fixes the problem. If not, you may want to check
Microsoft's Knowledgebase for a solution.
