(I had my development laptop stolen and am rebuilding the environment,
only with XP pro instead of Win2K.)
The upgrade from XP home to pro went smoothly.
The installation of SQL2k went smoothly.
The installation of .NET 1.0 went smoothly.

I recovered my old project from backup and that is where things started
going wrong.
MAIN PROBLEM: Session State is not persisting from page to page. I have
been all over MSDN and the usergroups and run down every possible option
listed from web.config to browser settings and disabling virus software.
I have it narrowed down to the fact that my server is not setting
cookies. I have my browser set to "confirm all cookies" and every other
other site other than this machine sets them.
any advice is appreciated.
